Fundraising tips

Personalise your webpage
Tell your story about why you/your organisation are giving a Big Day Back. Make sure you include photos of yourself or the team.

Set a target
Aim high with your target, it can motivate you and your supporters.

Don’t be afraid to share
Sharing on Facebook and social media raises more. Don’t be afraid, people want to hear what you are doing! Use our images and don’t forget tag us on Instagram and Facebook using the hashtags #SCIA #SpinalCordInjuriesAustralia #BigDayBack #NeuroMoves

Make sure you share your Big Day Back fundraising page URL when you share these images.

Donate yourself
Set the standard and make a donation to yourself. This will show your dedication to the cause and can set the average amount others will give.

Update your page
Let people know how you are doing and feedback to them at the end. 20% of fundraising comes in after the event so make sure you let everyone know what you did and why.

Matched Giving
Don’t forget to ask your company if they are able to match your donation – many companies do!
